Make Final Fantasy 12 Work For Hdloader

Microsoft Research shows

Via Pocket-lint I learn that Microsoft Research is experimenting with a system that allows you to interact with projected images.

The concept reminds Surface , but no need of a fixed surface, leaving the door open for applications on handheld devices (do not you come now that the Surface is considered Bilbao PDA ...). I leave the video after the jump.

Most reviews I'm reading are very negative, particularly some that are not limited to saying "Microsoft always being silly" are:

  • When inserting the hand to manipulate things the projection is interrupted by creating shade.
  • A lack of specific data, these systems have never had too much sensitivity. Indeed

projecting shadow is a drawback. Everything depends on what is being used. The laser keyboards have the same problem and remain useful. In fact, all systems have that problem directly touch directly or indirectly. For example, if you play something in a iPhone, you can not see what's under your hand ... so no one has implemented the Drag & Drop . It would be virtually impossible to move an item from the top to the bottom ... because you do not see the bottom when you put your hand. On the sensitivity

... say nothing. When Nintendo Wii presented thought the same thing and found that the accuracy was sufficient. The project Natal Xbox of us suggested it. Perhaps this technology has an accuracy acceptable for the use you want to.

Also, keep in mind that this is presented by Microsoft Research. That is, is under investigation. No one knows what its practical application, or if the will, but everything seems to indicate that it will.
